Executive Vice President of the Shanghai Stock Exchange
Mr. Zhou Qinye is currently Executive Vice President of The Shanghai Stock Exchange. He joined the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 1994.
Mr. Zhou serves as a member of the Accounting Standards Committee of the Ministry of Finance, of China Internal Control Standards Committee, of the Auditing Standards Committee of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA), of the Internal Control Instruction Committee of CICPA and a director of CICPA. He is also a Standing Director of Shanghai Accounting Institute and a member of Shanghai Judiciary Expertise Committee. He is now an academic advisor to PhD candidates at Fudan University and adjunct professor at Xiamen University, Tongji University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Shanghai Lixin University of Commerce.
Mr. Zhou's major research covers accounting, auditing and information disclosure in securities markets. He has published many papers in professional magazines. He is the leader of the key research projects sponsored by the Ministry of Finance, including Issues on Capital (Securities) Markets and Information Disclosure, Option-Based Payment for Employees and Research on the Internal Control of Financial Statements.
Mr. Zhou obtained a Master's Degree in Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 1986.
