ThyssenKrupp AG, Chief Accountant
Heinz Hense is the chief accountant of ThyssenKrupp, a German DAX 30 public company with global operations generating sales of Euro 50 billion and employing 190,000 people worldwide. His responsibilities mainly comprise the preparation and filing of the company’s financial statements und organizing the Management Reporting process. Heinz has served the Group in various accounting and tax accounting roles since 1990. He has been a member of the AIC (Accounting Interpretations Committee) of the German Accounting Standards Board since 2004. He holds a doctorate in Accounting and Auditing awarded by Münster University, Germany.
ThyssenKrupp joined a project with the IASCF to implement a proof of concept of XBRL under IFRS for financial reporting in 2007.
