Paola Fumiani (Project Manager) Graduated in 1981, joined InfoCamere taking the position of System Administrator in the IBM mainframe environment acquiring specific skills on system tuning and capacity planning over the large corporate platforms.
She supervised the transition from a mainframe base into a Client/Server architecture developing new competencies on the Java J2EE – Enterprise Edition and on the Web Services Architecture. She joined different EU projects, e.g., the EBR – European Business Register Open Network as technology expert for the Web Service infrastructure, the WINS project – Web based Business Intelligence Service as technical consultant for the adoption of the XBRL standard and the BRITE project where XBRL enters the eProcurement arena.
She's the XBRL Technical expert and advisor at InfoCamere and to the workgroup of the “Associazione XBRL Italia” which has developed the taxonomy compliant to the Italian ‘civil code’ provisions. Paola is deeply involved in the process of adoption of the XBRL as compulsory format for the deposit of Annual Financial Statements to the Italian Business Register.
