David has been involved in the XBRL consortium since August, 1999. He was chosen as one of the first co-Chairs of the XBRL Specification Working Group. He has been an Editor of every version of the XBRL Specification. He has also worked on RIXML and the XML messaging vocabulary for the GSTPA. David began his career at Goldman, Sachs. He has worked for KPMG and Gari Software, a subsidiary of Dow Jones. He is currently a Director for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. David holds an MS in Computer Science from New York Institute of Technology, and a BS in Computer Science from Hofstra University.
